WHAT IS EXECUTIVE COACHING?
Executive coaching is a mutually crafted relationship between executive and
coach. Coaching initiatives usually focus on organizational performance or
development, but may also be requested personally by the client. This strategic
alliance produces noticeable results for both the company and the client.
Coaching is an ideal vehicle for helping executives and their departments set
goals and do what it takes to attain them. Executive coaches help their
clients focus on the most important tasks and produce results efficiently and
effectively. What initiatives does your organization have whose results are
extremely important, but where there is a lack of team focus, executive skill,
or follow-through to see it through to completion? These are the types of
challenges that call for an experienced coach.

HOW DO I CHOOSE AN EXECUTIVE COACH?
An excellent executive coach asks the difficult, strategic questions necessary
for understanding and intervening in complex business situations. They must be
familiar with the executive's world, and able to communicate effectively around
complex or difficult issues as well as be highly trained in the area of
executive learning and change implementation. They should serve as the
executive's collaborative partner and a trustworthy confidante with the highest
level of professional ethics.

HOW COACHING WORKS
The Levin Group tailors its coaching sessions to meet your needs. Sessions are
generally scheduled weekly or biweekly, and can take place onsite or by
telephone. Meetings are built around the client's schedule, and are set up in
advance so that both parties are committed to the scope of work. Small group
coaching is also possible via conferencing. This is a cost-effective way for
intact teams of managers to focus on specific organizational issues.
The coach and client organization set the agenda together. Coaching can be used
in a time-limited manner to work on a specific agenda item, or clients may use
the partnership to develop different skills over a longer period. Our coaches
use a contracting process to clarify areas of focus, expected results and
realistic time frames.
